Journals...
- Journaling is not a chore. It cements your thoughts, insights, answers and questions in your mind.
- There is no right or wrong way to journal. It depends on what you read as well as how the Lord speaks to you as you pray.
- Some people write a lot sometimes and very little at other times.
- Consider these questions as starting points for your writing:
What word, idea, impression or thought jumped out at me when I read these verses?
How might I have responded if I were hearing these words for the first time?
What challenges am I facing today?
What joys do I have today?
If God were going to do something for me today I wish He'd...?
You do not have to use the journal books we printed out. Some may journal digitally, on steno pads, or already have a journal they use.
On the days you're caught up with your reading go back and re-read what you wrote. Is there anything there you need to deal with, schedule, work on or praise God for?
Good luck and good reading
