Kenton Mission- Ideas
Published: Sunday April 29, 2007 09:02:00 AMI was given an idea that I would love to do. It is to make brown paper bag meals and hand them out to the homeless. We get together at Kenton and bring food that we will make sandwiches and have some fruits, vegetables and a boxed juice for the paper sacks. Then we would go around in our neighborhoods and hand out the paper sacks to the homeless. We can do this as often as we like. I was thinking of doing this once a month like on a Saturday.

I have a few ideas but some things are hard to do by myself. It would be nice to have few people to bring ideas and is willing to volunteer and help our community. There are so many charities out there but I think there is some other way to help people too. Someone gave me the suggestion to do a soup kitchen at Kenton United Presbyterian Church. I think it a great idea. Once we have a few more people in our committee we can work out details.
I hopefully to have a Mission Meeting here soon. I will announce it soon.
